KICK-EEZ® staff, along with our partners from Sorbothane®, recently returned from the 2016 NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show) in Las Vegas, the largest shooting industry trade show of its kind. This year the Show featured more than 1,600 different vendors and 62,000 shooting industry professionals. The SHOT Show is always a great opportunity for KICK-EEZ to showcase our products and answer questions from potential customers. Unlike competitor recoil pads that may contain steel plates, hollow spots, coils, etc., in their pads in an effort to reduce recoil, KICK-EEZ recoil pads are made of solid Sorbothane. Aside from the performance gains allowed by this difference in recoil pad construction, using solid Sorbothane in recoil pad construction allows shooters who use KICK-EEZ recoil pads to sand and grind as much as necessary to match their stock dimensions without having to worry about hitting steel plates, hollow spots, reducing the recoil reduction, or even destroying their pad. Each year in our booth we proudly display KICK-EEZ recoil pads that we’ve cut in half, so we can visually demonstrate to customers that KICK-EEZ recoil pads look the very same in the middle as they do on the outside.
