The Aridus Industries Universal Quick Detach Carrier (Q-DC) is a versatile shotgun side saddle shell holder designed to provide fast, reliable quick-detach shotshell storage on most pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns. Ideal for tactical use, home defense, and competition, this system delivers secure on-gun ammo access without permanent modifications to your firearm.
The Universal Q-DC is compatible with many popular shotguns, including the Beretta 1301, Benelli M2, Benelli M4, Mossberg 930, and numerous others. Due to trigger assembly pin placement and receiver geometry, it is not recommended for Remington 870 or Mossberg 500/590 shotguns. For those platforms, Aridus Industries recommends dedicated hard-mount carrier solutions.
The Q-DC Base mounts using high-strength 3M™ VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided adhesive tape, known for exceptional durability in extreme environments. This adhesive maintains a secure bond across a wide temperature range—from -30°F to +230°F—and resists heat, cold, recoil, and harsh field conditions.
A large cutout in the Universal Q-DC Base allows access to receiver pins, enabling full shotgun disassembly and maintenance without removing the mount.
Each Universal Q-DC now features an upgraded CNC-machined latch, providing improved fit, smoother operation, and long-term durability.

Important Installation Notes

Some finishes, including Cerakote, may be too slick for optimal adhesion. For best results, lightly scuff the mounting surface with a Scotch-Brite™ pad, remove dust, and degrease the receiver according to instructions.

Fitment should be verified prior to installation. Download and print the fitment template at 100% scale, then cut it out and place it on your receiver to ensure the adapter does not interfere with pins, hardware, or forends.
